Unlike focaccia bread, I’ve eaten cinnamon rolls many, many times. I grew up eating Cinnabon at every mall I visited and making the Pillsbury rolls in the pop open canister. As I’ve gotten older, I learned to seek out independent bakeries for quality treats and it’s encouraged me to try my hand at creating homemade rolls — even down to the icing on top. Out of all the things I want to bake this year, these are ones that I’m looking forward to the most. Here's to hoping I get them right!
