Reflection
My final project was nothing short of exhausting to finish. Out of the three websites that I’ve created using WordPress in this class, this one was definitely the hardest to execute. To begin the project, I largely relied on sketches of how I wanted the website to look (see: picture on the left) and the structure of the website I was redesigning. I knew that I wanted to retain certain aspects of how the site functioned, such as how easy it was to navigate and the clean aesthetic. However, I wanted to convey some of the values that make up the business’ mission (i.e. comfort, care, etc.) and refine the information on the site for an optimal user experience. Overall, I believe that I did a good job in achieving this goal, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel like abandoning my goals completely at some point just so I could finish the project faster.
