I really enjoyed doing this project, especially the process of designing the site with CSS. I’m particularly proud of the layout of my site, both aesthetically and technically. I really wanted a clean, minimal site with some fun touches and for the most part, I think I was able to achieve that, specifically with the background and animated links in the navigation bar. Technically, I was able to make some elements of the site responsive, but there were still a few issues I came across while working the site.

The first issue was not being able to achieve a centered horizontal navigation bar and this problem only worsened when I added in the animated underline to the menu options. However, I was eventually able to overcome this issue, which felt great but was still frustrating to experience! Another issue came up when I was attempting to get my footer to stay at the bottom of the page. Initially, my footer kept overlapping with the pages’ content whenever you’d minimize the window, but I kept it because I liked the position of the footer. However, I eventually decided that I had to change it and while it’s not in the same position, I like that it's no longer interfering with the content laid out on the pages.

Beyond these two issues, I didn’t run into many other problems, but this could be because I didn’t add too many flashy elements to my site, which is something I want to work on in the future. For future projects, I’d like to incorporate more animations and graphics, but overall, I am pleased with how my first project turned out.
